mois de juillet = retour à la maison ? Dr ce matin confiant que Theo va bientôt bouger dans un berceau. Vivement. Encore 2 semaines ? Je me mets cet objectif dans la tête, je ne devrais pas. Bon allaitement je lui met E quand même, peur qu'il n'ait pas assez à manger. Bien éveillé avant le repas et succion de plus en plus vigoureuse et longue (il ne maîtrise pas encore le "manger et respirer" en même temps donc il prend de grandes bouffées d'air avant de manger et reste jusqu'à ce qu'il n'en puisse vraiment plus de ne pas respirer, c'est trop rigolo à voir). Visite Kidzfirst cet après-midi (hôpital pour enfants) - pas envie de connaître ! Mais bien de faire un tour au cas où. 80% des prématurés feront un tour à Kidzfirst pendant leur première année, s'y préparer et se blinder. Très chaud dans la pièce, bouffées de chaleur dûes à la montée de lait. Volume lait en hausse. A la maison pour dîner, première fois depuis mon hospitalisation ! Impression de temps, ai pu envoyer des mails et charger des photos. Toujours ce petit sentiment d'abandonner Theo quand on est à la maison "à ne rien faire"...
July = month of our discharge from hospital ? Dr this morning are confident that Theo is going to be moved onto a bassinet soon. I can't wait. 2 weeks ? I have this target in my head, I shouldn't. Good breastfeeds but I mark him E, I am always scared he hadn't had enough to eat. Very alert before meal and his sucking is more and more powerful and long (he can't "breathe and eat" yet so he took big gulps of air before each feed and stay on the breast until the last possible second of air left in his lungs - this is so funny to watch). Visit Kidzfirst (children hospital). I don't really want to know this part of the hospital but good to know where to go if we need it... 80 % of prem babies will go to Kidzfirst during their first year. Get ready for it and bear with the idea. Very hot in the NICU, I suffer from the heat, is this due to the letting-down of milk ? My milk supply is improving. At home for diner. 1st time since I have been admitted to hospital ! I feel that I have so much more time, I am able to send emails and download photos. But always this feeling of abandonning Theo when we are home "doing nothing"...
